Single Record Project

In March 2014, I started the Single Record Project while exploring my own illustration style. Inspired by the music I love, I imagined creating artwork as if commissioned by the artists themselves for their songs. The project became both a creative practice and a playground for experimentation.

Each piece was driven by the emotions I felt while listening to the music, sometimes influenced by the song’s music video or the artist’s persona. Some illustrations came out great, others didn’t quite match the vibe I’d envisioned, but all of it was a valuable learning process. The feedback from people who appreciated (or didn’t) these pieces kept me motivated and growing.

This project eventually led to my first album cover—Autotelic’s Papunta Pabalik in 2016—and opened doors to more illustration opportunities. As long as music is playing, my pen will keep flowing.
